☀️ Beating the heat at Hengistbury Head! 🏖️
Over the last two weeks our Year 10 Geographers have hit the coast to collect their vital GCSE Paper 3 fieldwork data—with some scorching temperatures to boot!

In one of our hottest field trips yet, with highs of 27°C, our students absolutely smashed it. They stayed cool in the shade, kept hydrated, and worked incredibly hard to investigate evidence of longshore drift along the shoreline.
We were so impressed by their resilience in the heat and their fantastic fieldwork skills, from high-quality field sketches to the precise use of clinometers and ranging poles.

To celebrate wrapping up a brilliant (and very warm!) day of geography, we made sure to fit in a traditional seaside ice cream before heading home. 🍦

Our fantastic Year 9 Sports Leaders recently had the opportunity to support activities at Nursteed Primary School, and they were an absolute credit to our school community!

The students demonstrated excellent leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism while working with the younger children, helping to create a fun and engaging experience for everyone involved.

The PE Leader at Nursteed Primary School shared this wonderful feedback:

"It was so lovely to see some old and very grown-up faces of Nursteed past, but all of them were brilliant and up for anything I threw at them. What wonderful role models for the younger children."
