Heya, thank you so much for the birthday wishes here on FB.
I’ve been ’on a break’ with all socials since the start on Oct.. wow nearly 7 months!! It’s changed my life (dramatic but true) in a v positive way.
I wanted to hop back on to say thanks to those that have taken time to think of me on my bday. 40 effing 3 ☺️… feeling gratitude for mine, my family’s and my friends’ health.
The words I have chosen to get me to 44 - droopy drawers (cheers Bingo!) are:
Strength
Serenity
Courage and
Change
Today I went to a Poetry Performance Masterclass at the Bristol Hippodrome. I took to the mic and slammed down some of my own poetry (Courage), I studied the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit at the Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (Serenity).
I experienced the strength of my friends; Rhiannon, who supported me to make today happen and who bought out the pressies, candles and singing 🎶 whilst overlooking the canal at the bottom of her garden. Amy Howland and Chloe Howland for the bunting, balloons, cake, (more) candles, oodles of presents and the beautiful evening of food, laughter and loudness ☺️. And always my children, Will and Emily who are growing and changing so fast that it is a lesson to me to keep changing for my growth.

In the interests of keeping things real… here is a short vid!!
Nothing important. It’s probably a bit boring (!). But there, it’s honest.
I’m sharing as I did promise a couple of vid updates a week to the lovely people who responded to my poll, Ty.
I’ve never used a filter, I don’t even know how… but I have no make-up on in this video so I can say there are absolutely zero filters!
In fact I’m going to regret posting this. I don’t think I’ve left the house without make up on since I was 20 but somehow I give no 💩‘s online!
A few thanks this week:
1) Haine & Smith Opticians Devizes for getting me fast tracked to hospital.
2) The Ophthalmology 👁️ (if you can pronounce that word I will give you a prize) department at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With a particular shout out to nurse, Susan Reed for your care and cuddle 💞
3) My doggies and my kiddies who all create a lot of mess (and…full disclosure; hassle) but who fill me with laughter and love daily. 🐾
