ATTENTION!!

This is a message to our customers who came into store tonight.

Firstly I would like to apologise for the service you may have received tonight during the middle of the shift. We had a major issue inside the store, to which we were unable to cut more chips, due to our chipper breaking in the middle of the shift, and us having to cut chips by hand…. (Cons of making fresh chips everyday)

To anyone who was unhappy please do not hesitate to come back into store tommrow or next week and I will happily give you 10% off your next order as a sorry on our behalf. We understand waiting times and limits on chips were longer than usual.

Secondly, even though this misshap was completely out of our control, and we tried our upmost to keep up with demand, I will NOT tolerate ANY verbal abuse towards my staff members, all of which work part time to earn some extra money whilst they are at school/uni/college.

ANY abuse towards my staff members is unacceptable, and frankly was embarrassing, due to people being limited to smaller portions of chips. If you have ANY issues please don’t hesitate to come into store and ask for myself, Jordan, and I will happily have a civilised conversation.

To the rest of our loyal customers, once again I can only apologise for tonight, and hope you can accept our apology, and we promise to do better next time.

ATTENTION!!

We will be closed ALL DAY tommrow ( Wednesday 11th) as we will be laying to rest one of our former employees Eddie, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however family as we all class ourselves here at lemon plaice, comes before business.

Secondly as some of you may have seen the past few weeks, we have had a picture of Eddie up in the shop and a donation pot. To which we have raised over £300!! I would just like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind donations, which has honestly gone above and beyond what we thought was possible! This will be going to towards a charity of Eddie’s families choice, or towards anything they wish.

Thank you all for being understanding and patient with us these last few weeks, and we really do cherish you all very much ❤️

We will be open again as usual on Thursday and we look forward to seeing you then!
