Sulets will be joining us once again to support the East Midlands 2026 Housing Conference.

Sulets is a specialist student lettings agency operating in Leicester & Loughborough with a charitable mission to provide quality, affordable housing for students. With over 14 years' experience, they rent to more than 2,500 students annually across a range of HMOs and purpose-built student accommodation, working with individual landlords, investors and one of the UK's largest PBSA providers.

Sulets are hearing more & more landlords saying they are concerned about the impact of the Renters' Rights Act on their HMO income?

As an educational charity, Sulets is exempt from the Renters' Rights Act and can offer landlords fixed-term lease agreements, removing the worry. Their lease offers guaranteed rent and full property management, giving landlords peace of mind and completely hassle-free letting to students.

Irving and his team at Sulets are committed to raising standards in student accommodation and we look forward to welcoming their team back to the East Midlands Conference Centre on 20th October! https://www.sulets.com/

Toolkit and guidance for developing homelessness Strategies and Action Plans 21/05/2026

Big moment for everyone involved with DASH Services

We’re incredibly proud to see our innovative ‘Call Before You Serve’ service recognised in the government publication:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/toolkit-and-guidance-for-developing-homelessness-strategies-and-action-plans

For those who may not know, ‘Call Before You Serve’ was created by DASH to do something simple but powerful:

* Prevent homelessness before it happens
*Support landlords and tenants to resolve issues early
+Reduce unnecessary possession action
*Keep tenancies sustainable within the PRS
*Help local authorities manage demand through practical intervention
*Help Landlords feel valued

Being name checked in a national strategic document is more than recognition of a service - It’s recognition that prevention-led partnership working in the PRS really does work.

At a time when housing pressures continue to grow, services like ‘Call Before You Serve’ show the value of early engagement, mediation, advice and collaborative problem solving rather than waiting for crisis point.

This acknowledgement reflects the hard work of the DASH team, local authority partners and stakeholders who continue to champion better outcomes for landlords, tenants and communities alike. – check out the DASH Services' website for what else we have been up to !

DASH Services has always focused on practical innovation that delivers measurable impact across the PRS, and it’s fantastic to see that approach gaining wider national attention.

I hope Helen Delaney will be looking down on my team with relief that we didn’t mess it up 😉

To mark the launch of the Renters’ Rights Act, the DASH Services team are excited to be launching our own news.

Tickets for the East Midlands 2026 Housing Conference are now available to book.

It takes place on 20th October, and we’re thrilled to have housing law expert David Smith back with us as Keynote Speaker.

The theme this year is 'Six Months On: Renters’ Rights Act in Practice' and there will be loads of practical guidance and information for housing professionals in the private rented sector.

Tickets are just £10 and entry allows you to listen to all the speakers, a range of practical workshops as well as refreshments and snacks.

Email: [email protected] to book

In addition to the conference, DASH have also launched various courses to
help landlords and agent navigate life post Renters’ Rights Act (RRA) which are open for bookings now:

* How to Start Tenancies Post 1 May: Getting It Right From Day One
* How to Terminate APT After 1st May: A Practical Guide to Section 8 Notices
* Health & Safety Essentials for the PRS Landlords & Agents
* Preparing Registered Providers for the RRA: What Social Landlords Need to Know Before Implementation

Our FREE regular (and very popular) Don Robbie and Linda Selvey-Cobb OBE online information session for landlords will be held via MS TEAMS on 15th May 2026 at 12noon for one hour

During the session we will talk all things RRA implementation and share some of the questions & answers we have received about the new rules from fellow landlords.

Lots going on but there needs to be as it’s such an important time for landlords.
