Volunteer Opportunities in Walsall - Children and Young Persons Activity Volunteer
Growing up in care can be difficult, but those young people who have a volunteer Independent Visitor (the official title for this role) have a supportive friend to listen to them.

IV's meet with their young person once a month for around 3-4 hours to enjoy a fun activity together. This could be bowling, a trip to the cinema, trampolining, going for a bite to eat or simply a walk in the local park. The time out can be so valuable and provides the young person in care with someone to talk too as well as a positive role model.
We currently have lots of young people waiting for the chance to have their own volunteer across Walsall.
No experience is necessary and full training and ongoing support is provided.
If you think you could spare 3-4 hours once a month for a period of 24 months, we would love to hear from you.
