We’re hiring!
We’re looking for a new team member to join our busy and expanding workshop. We are based in Longford Derby.
The role
This will be an ever evolving and varied role but will initially start out with the following:
• Cabinet assembly
• Wood finishing
• Packing and sending out our flat pack kits and parts
• CNC machine operation (training will be given)
• Cutting and manufacturing products
• Preparing/cleaning Campervans ready for handover
• Other general duties as required
About you:
• Hard working, motivated, with a can-do and willingness to learn attitude
• Confident with a cheerful nature, punctual and with an ability to meet strict deadlines and work under your own initiative
• Able to communicate with customers
• Open to bringing new ideas and methods/skills to the workplace with attitude to constantly improve their skills
• Competent in using basic workshop power tools such routers, chop saws, circular saws etc
• A well-organised self-starter with a positive outlook and a clear focus to achieve set targets and meet deadlines, without compromising quality
• High attention to detail and top-quality workmanship
• Full training will be given but the expectation is that you will be a quick learner, able to work at pace
A bonus for all applicants would be knowledge, skills and experience in:
• Joinery
• CNC machining
• Computer skills
