Paul, Summer & Hannah’s Chapter One Hair Spa x Gloss Boss Competition! 🤍

“Taking inspiration from recent Met Gala and catwalk trends, we wanted to create something super soft, effortlessly lived-in and slightly undone — a colour that felt natural, wearable and luxurious all at once.” 😍

The process started with a full head of ultra-fine babylight foils combined with softly scattered lowlights throughout to create depth and dimension. We achieved this using Flash Lift Power 9 with 20 volume peroxide, alongside 7N Shades EQ lowlights.

To create that seamless lived-in root effect, we used Redken’s new Shades ALK range in 7GI and 8N with 10 volume peroxide, blending the root down softly into the lighter ends. Through the mids and ends, we used Shades EQ 8GI and 10GI, whilst weaving in additional 8N and 8GI lowlights to maintain a natural warmth and softness throughout the overall look. A touch of 10AG was added to perfectly balance the final tone.

We finished using the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate range for shampooing, conditioning and styling before adding a soft, slightly messy wave to complete the look.
