Warming up is used to get your voice ready for singing something else - so we are thinking about connecting the:

Body Breath & Voice

Have fun, make mistakes, there's no need for it to sound perfect!

If you are generating the HEY! well, then it should feel:

⚡️high energy

BUT

🌀 low effort

As shouting is a primal response, its something we all do very naturally in our day to day, but sometimes when we get older / or take the shout into a singing environment we overthink it 😬

If you feel your tummy move when you shout HEY! you're probably 👌

If you feel like it's disconnected, out of control, uncomfortably tight or painful then:

💢take a pause
👃take a breath
😎 try again

🚫 if it still feels meh or eugh then catch up with your voice coach in your next session so they can have a listen to you and offer some in person guidance 🫶
