Coventry Funeral Service
Today marks two years since Coventry Funeral Service was established.
Over the past two years, our focus has been clear and consistent: to provide a compassionate, professional and transparent funeral service for the people of Coventry, at a time when they need it most.
We are proud to be a Council run service that places dignity, choice and care at the heart of everything we do. Every family we support, every farewell we help to arrange, and every conversation we have reinforces why this service matters.
Thank you to the families who have placed their trust in us, and to the colleagues and partners who support the service day in, day out. We appreciate the confidence shown in us and remain committed to continuing this work with care, respect and integrity.
π What families have said about us πΏ
We are always grateful when families and organisations take the time to share their experience with Coventry Funeral Service. Supporting people with care, clarity and compassion is always at the heart of what we do π±
π¬ βTom and the team went above and beyond our expectations and made a very difficult process far more bearable.β
π¬ βFrom the first call with Jemma through to the interment of ashes, nothing was too much trouble. The care and attention to detail were exceptional.β
π¬ βThe whole process was flawless. They listened and went the extra mile with thoughtful personal touches.β
π¬ βThank you for the lovely service for my mum. I could not have done it without you and your wonderful team.β
If you ever need our services, some support, or simply have a question, please know we are here to help ππΏ

ππ Our Christmas Memorial Tree Has Arrived ππ
This is our first year of hosting a Christmas Memorial Tree at Coventry Funeral Service. As a new service, this is something we hope to offer every year as a space for our community to remember loved ones who will always hold a special place in our hearts.
We warmly invite anyone who would like to place a memorial tag on the tree in loving remembrance of someone who is no longer with us but is always close in thought. π
You are more than welcome to visit Monday to Friday between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm to place a memorial tag on the tree. No appointment is needed, simply pop in and you will be met with a warm welcome.π

Remembering Coventryβs Civilians
Coventry Funeral Service was honoured to attend the Remembrance Service on behalf of Coventry City Councilβs Bereavement Services.
London Road Cemetery hosted this yearβs annual ceremony to remember and honour the civilian lives lost as a direct result of the night of 14th November 1940.
The cemetery holds 808 graves marking those who lost their lives during the Blitz of 1940 and 1941. The service was attended by the Lord Mayor of Coventry, the Bishop of Coventry, and serving and retired members of the Armed Forces.
It was a privilege to attend and to lay a wreath in remembrance of those who lost their lives.
Lest We Forget. πΊ

π World Mental Health Day π
Today reminds us how important it is to take care of our mental wellbeing and to look out for one another.
At Coventry Funeral Service, we see daily how grief and loss can affect people in different ways, and we want to remind our community that it is okay to reach out and talk.
Support is always available, and even small conversations can make a big difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first Macmillan Coffee Morning. We were especially pleased to see families we have had the privilege to look after, along with friends and relatives of our team, colleagues from other Council departments, and neighbours from Jackson Road.
Together we raised just over Β£140 through cake and coffee for an amazing cause. Your kindness and generosity mean so much. π
