The Dynamo Project

Last Monday, my partner and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, who we have called Shaylon 🩵.

It was an amazing experience to welcome him into the world and today we had some daddy and son time watching the football ⚽️.

We are looking forward to bringing him home soon so we can watch even more football together ❤️.

It is best to start them early 😅.

Louis has just celebrated an incredible milestone — 5 months clean and sober, and we couldn’t be prouder of him 👏

We asked Louis to reflect on his journey so far — what the past 5 months have really been like, and how it feels to reach this point in his recovery.

Here’s what he had to say…

"Five months ago, I never imagined I'd be here. Recovery has brought its challenges, but its also brought opportunities, friendships, and a lot of miles on my running shoes! I've raised money for the project, got back into hobbies that I always loved, I'm doing things I never thought I would, found a new confidence within myself and somehow managed to pick up a tan along the way too! The main thing is, I've stayed clean and sober because The Dynamo Project has given me the opportunity to work on and better myself. I'm proud of how far I've come and excited to see what the future holds for me. There's still a lifetime worth of work to be done but I can't thank everyone at The Dynamo Project enough because not only have my parents gotten their son back but I've gotten myself back 💙"
