Home with Lasting Memories 🇫🇷 🇧🇪

We are all home safe and sound after an unforgettable trip.

I would like to thank all of our pupils for making this such a memorable experience. Throughout the week, they embraced every opportunity to learn, reflect and experience history firsthand. Most importantly, they conducted themselves with maturity, dignity and respect as we paid our respects to those who gave their lives during the First World War.

A special mention also goes to Caleb, our trusty tour mascot, who even managed to meet the pilot on the journey home and had the chance to sit in the flight deck, a memorable way to round off an incredible week!

Thank you also to our parents and families for their continued support.

This has been a journey of remembrance, learning, friendship and shared experiences that will stay with us for many years to come.

A Perfect End to Our Tour 🇫🇷

We rounded off an unforgettable trip with a fantastic day in Paris. Pupils enjoyed a guided tour of the city’s iconic landmarks, with plenty of opportunities to capture memories at the Eiffel Tower.

We then took a relaxing boat trip along the River Seine, seeing many of Paris’s famous sights from the water, before spending time on the Champs-Élysées and visiting the magnificent Arc de Triomphe.

To finish the day, some pupils embraced French culture by sampling delicious treats from a traditional pâtisserie, while others opted for a slightly different taste of France… by trying McDonald’s!

A wonderful way to end an incredible week of learning, reflection and unforgettable experiences.
