It never seises to amaze the lack of awareness drivers have when it they come upon a roadside recovery……
This morning we recovered a vehicle from a dual-carriageway, the stricken vehicle had left the road and the recovery vehicle was positioned in the hard shoulder flush with the solid white line. Even with the recovery vehicle positioned so close to lane 1 in a stand-off position highly visible with amber warning beacons, motorists continued to brush past at speed in lane 1 even with the road generally quiet and lane 2 was available to MOVE OVER.

We’re just trying to do a job and get home again safely.
