I have been busy sorting out my DNA results, Because I started researching many many years ago when you visited record offices and looked through pages and pages of baptisms, marriages and burials most of my tree was complete. It was good however to confirm via DNA that it is correct. plus managed to find lots of 2nd/3rd cousins.
It is a good idea to have a parent do their dna too if possible as it helps to find out which matches connect to the different sides of the family.

I have been busy developing some trees, there's a lot more to family history than just names births, marriages and deaths,
You get a wonderful connection when you visit the places where they lived. a couple of weeks ago we visited Waltham Abbey where my maternal family are from and it was fantstic to walk through the streets imagining what it was like.

I have been busy confirming my mums paternal side the Parish's my 2x's great grandparents Anthony Adam Parish and Emma clements had 13 children and 40 grandchildren. his son my great grandfather George was a policeman in the metropoltian police force and also found out 2 of his brothers and a nephew were also in the force,
