Happy new year to all of my clients 😎 December has been so busy- probably the busiest clinic I’ve ever had PLUS both Kit and Wren’s birthdays. My New Year’s resolution is to post more (although it always is). I’ve posted my availability for ability for January, counting down the days til the kids are back at school 🙏🏼

Half way through our holiday in 🇪🇸. I still have some availability on the 26th and 28th of August when I’m back. However I’m busier than ever and those dates are filling up. Thank you for everyone who has wished me a happy birthday today so far (35th) #

It is the end of World Allergy Week 🤧🌰 being a nurse of over 15 years having vast experience in A&E and acute medicine, I have assessed, treated and cared for a range of patients with allergic reactions ranging from a rash to anaphylaxis and administered IV & IM medications. Being a multiple allergy sufferer myself (peanuts, tree nuts, fish, pinenuts, kiwi) I’ve experienced first hand how nerve wracking and unpredictable it is visiting new places, eating new foods or taking new medications. However, as many allergic reactions as I have had, witnessed or have treated, the scariest moment was when my 2 year old suffered a severe allergic reaction to tree nuts last year. Thankfully with my experience and knowledge, I was able to recognise symptoms immediately and act quickly. If you are an allergy sufferer and are considering treatment, please make sure you are going to a medically trained clinician who would understand your medical history and knows the drug they are administering to you in depth.
