Are you in need of a baby and toddler group for you and your little ?

Cosy Cubs could be the baby and toddler group for you ranging from newborns - school age children !

A little bit about Cosy Cubs -
We aim to be a safe, warm, welcoming and relaxed parent and child group ☺
Our sessions are suitable for children from birth - school age children
We run weekly on a Friday from 10am - 12pm 🕛

🎶 Each session begins with approximately 15 minutes of engaging and interactive music with a focus on repetition to build familiarity

🧸🚂 We then move into unstructured free play time, a variety of high quality toys will be set up to support your child’s early development! Each week we will alternate between a messy play tuff tray activity and a craft activity. Refreshments will be available throughout our sessions ☕🍎 please take this time to chat to other parents, feed or change your baby we will have free nappies and wipes available at all times

👋🫧We will then have a quick tidy up before coming back together for a few final goodbye songs and bubbles to end the session.

Individual sessions are £3 each and are to be paid on entry😊

☀️ Summer HAF 2026 ☀️
We’re excited to announce our Summer Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme is now available to book for both Duckbrook and The RAY Club!
📌 Reminder: You will need your IAM code from your child’s school to book your activities. If you haven’t received your code, please contact your child’s school.
📅 Sessions run from 27th July – 28th August and spaces are limited, so make sure to book early to secure your child’s place.
🎭 Stage Stars: Please ensure you book both days, as the sessions are a continuation of one another.
🚸 Please note: Parents/carers are NOT permitted to stay during any HAF activities. Unless this has been previously agreed with senior staff. Our staff will supervise children throughout each session until collection.

We're searching for friendly, reliable people who want to help create a fun, safe and supportive space for local young people. You don't need any previous youth work experience, just enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved.

Come and join us on Saturday 22nd August from 10:00am onwards at Bonsall Court Community Room, Newbold Road for a fun-filled day for the whole community!

Whether you’re already involved with CDC or you’re just curious about what we do, we’d love to welcome you. Come and explore our new community space, meet our friendly team, enjoy free refreshments and take part in activities including face painting, glitter tattoos, arts and crafts and much more!

This is also your chance to tell us what you’d like to see in your community and find out how you can get involved.

We’re delighted that HM Lord-Lieutenant Mrs Elizabeth Fothergill CBE will also be joining us on the day
