At Dancing for Health, we are passionate about exercise, dance and joyful expression for all. As we expand our business, we are now providing monthly or annual subscription packages that are specifically tailored to those in the Care Sector. I love how the residents or care co-ordinators can make the dancing so person-centred through choosing their favourite songs or choosing fast/ slow routines according to their access needs that day.��-�

Rather than using the same repetitive activities, care homes can now have my seated dance exercise videos available on an online platform 24/7. This gives them unlimited use with residents, even if you just fancy a single dance in the morning to wake everyone up before breakfast. There are such a range of proven health benefits from mobility strengthening, cardio-vascular improvement and even reduction in anxiety and depression. Dancing (or just singing along) together builds community and friendship.�-

When clients say it's the highlight of their week, you know you are making a difference! Working with the elderly can be so rewarding.

Come and join us at St Andrews church hall in Newbold for a slice of homemade cake and a bit of a boogie if you want to. All proceeds to our Parkinson’s dance class. We will be finished before the England match!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Our Parkinson's dance class has made a huge impact on its participants. See Cathy's story. The class is running out of funding so we are doing an afternoon tea dance, this Saturday 6th July at 2pm at St Andrew's Church hall, Newbold Chesterfield to help fundraise to keep the class going. Please come along and have a dance or a cup of tea and a cake with us or share with family or friends who may enjoy this afternoon of dancing and socialising fun.
All proceeds from the event, teas and coffees and raffle prizes go to Dancing for Health to enable these classes to continue making a difference to people's quality of life.
