Last night I attended a fascinating event at The Storyhouse, Chester. The highly knowledgeable social historian, Ruth Goodman, talked about a wide range of subjects that spanned many centuries. She really brought her subject to life with great passion and enthusiasm. A wonderfully enlightening evening!
