“It’s been the best 10 weeks I have ever had” 🥳

It was recently world bike day! 🚲

We thought this would be a great time to celebrate Llanrumney Riders.

In summer 2025 our Community Inclusion Co-Ordinator, Lilia worked alongside Community Focus Schools partner Laura Croft to apply for funding on behalf of 3 East Cardiff Primary Schools to be able to access 20 weeks of BMX coaching delivered by 🔥

The project was fortunate enough to receive two pots of funding. Firstly, the Community Cohesion Small Grant and then secondly the Cardiff and Vale Schools Fund. 🎉

15 pupils were identified and offered access to the BMX club. The pupils has the opportunity to learn new skills, increase their confidence, move their bodies and foster a sense of belonging to their community. 😍

“Mae wedi bod y 10 wythnos orau i mi ei gael erioed” 🥳

Yn ddiweddar roedd hi’n ddiwrnod beicio’r byd!

Roeddem yn meddwl y byddai hwn yn amser gwych i ddathlu Llanrhymni Riders. 🚲

Yn haf 2025 gweithiodd ein Cydlynydd Cynhwysiant Cymunedol, Lilia, ochr yn ochr â phartner Ysgolion Ffocws Cymunedol, Laura Croft, i wneud cais am gyllid ar ran 3 Ysgol Gynradd Dwyrain Caerdydd i allu cael mynediad at 20 wythnos o hyfforddiant BMX a ddarperir gan 🔥

Roedd y prosiect yn ddigon ffodus i dderbyn dau gronfa o gyllid. Yn gyntaf, y Grant Bach Cydlyniant Cymunedol ac yna’n ail Gronfa Ysgolion Caerdydd a’r Fro Sefydliad Cymunedol Cymru. 🥳

Cafodd 15 o ddisgyblion eu nodi a chael cynnig mynediad i’r clwb BMX. Cafodd y disgyblion gyfle i ddysgu sgiliau newydd, cynyddu eu hyder, symud eu cyrff a meithrin ymdeimlad o berthyn i’w cymuned. 😍
