Finished in Honey Maple satin oil with black chrome fittings the sizes of this kit will serve you in any musical situation!

We’ve had a beautiful shipment of Ludwig kits arrive and we had to show this one to you first. This is a Classic Maple in full face Birdseye Maple, we have spec’d this kit to replicate the sizes and many 1990’s features of the kit played by Roger Taylor. This kit comes in his sizes of the time and has Mach lugs, 90’s keystone badges and curved spurs. The kit has a few modern adjustments such as the triad brackets.

The UK Drum Show 2024: A Note from Dan

It’s hard to believe it’s been a week since we headed to Liverpool to set up for the UK Drum Show 2024. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand, and to all those who took part in Drumaoke. Witnessing such incredible young talent and seeing the Drumaoke band ignite the crowd’s energy was truly unforgettable.

This year marked our third collaboration with Korg UK, representing Mapex UK, Paiste Cymbals, Vater Drumsticks, Sakae, and, for the first time, Korg Electronics.

We had exciting showcases across the board. Mapex unveiled the new Black Panther Design Lab drum kits, while at Paiste, visitors got up close with some jaw-dropping artist setups and had the chance to test over 450 cymbals in our exclusive cymbal testing room. Sakae unveiled an entirely new range of Made in Japan kits and snare drums, while Vater made its biggest appearance yet, captivating new fans. Korg made a strong UKDS debut with the new MPS-10 Percussion & Sampler Pad.

We were also thrilled to custom-order a Mapex kit and Paiste cymbals for Aquiles Priester’s main stage performance, which we sold during the show to an ecstatic customer. The brands were exceptionally well-received throughout the weekend. Korg even gave away two MPS-10 pads, expertly demonstrated by Ben Stone, with one lucky winner each day! Everyone who joined Drumaoke walked away with some fantastic Mapex swag.

Events like this demand a tremendous effort, and we’re grateful to have an exceptional team who turn this in to reality year after year. From the travel to setup, to manning the stand and breaking down after long journeys — this show is no small feat. We are incredibly fortunate to have the best of the best who work above and beyond to make this happen.
