REVIVING SOCIETY STATUS

Dear all,

Due to an unsuccessful committee election last year, the student union has rescinded our status as an official society and so we will not be able to ask for a grant. Don't worry, we're still an ensemble and will be able to meet and rehearse and continue as normal, but music print-outs, flyers and trips will have to come out of our own pocket.

To reinstate it as an official society we need 3 comittee members (which we have), and 20 signatures. If you are interested in joining or trying out the society this year, please dm your name and student number and feel free to email the president at [email protected] if you have any questions (we aim to respond promptly)!

This year we have planned a Christmas gala as well as carolling and/or busking, a March concert as well as a trip to the Welsh National Opera, and regular quiz nights and socials.

I realise that this is a lot of work, however we're all so excited to finally being able to pull it off this year!!!!

If you are not mentioned in the schedule, YOU DO NOT NEED TO COME. However for the CHORUS rehearsal, EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE THERE!!!!!!!!
