What does home mean to you?
Last month, we travelled to Anglesey to capture a very special art workshop for our client
Led by Mary Ainsworth - an artist who grew up in care - the workshop invited children in foster care alongside their foster families to create a piece of art about belonging.
The children’s answers were beautifully specific. Mountains, a pet dog, hobbies. The people and places that carry the feelings of home.
The artwork tells a powerful story: that for children in foster care, staying local matters. It means being close to the things, people and places they love.

An exciting morning sharing The Blanket Bears with
Written by The Blanket Bears follows the story of two bears who move from their unsafe home to live with foster parents and are nurtured until they are eventually adopted. The book was written to help helping children understand adoption in a gentle, age-appropriate way.
