Olufolake Abdulrazaq Her Excellency, Ambassador Dr (Mrs) Olufolake Abdulrazaq, the esteemed First Lady Official of Kwara State and a powerhouse in her own right, chairs the Nigeria Governors’ Spouses’ Forum and founded the Ajike People Support Center. Her work, characterized by empathy and leadership, focuses on empowering women and children, health advocacy, and education, truly embodying the soft power behind governance with a deep commitment to societal betterment.

Once a teenager who migrated to the UK at age 15 with nothing but dreams, I found myself in a foreign land, unable to speak English, and without the guidance of my parents. Life ushered me through the doors of social services and into a foster home. It was a beginning marked by uncertainty and challenges, but it was also the start of an extraordinary journey.

Against all odds, I ventured into the world of real estate. It was a path less traveled, especially for someone with my background. My beginnings in real estate were humble, yet driven by an unwavering determination. From those initial steps, I built a foundation that grew into a multi-million-pound property portfolio, an estate agency, and a renowned renovation company.

Years of dedication and hard work led to a moment of profound recognition. I stood on the stage at the prestigious professional Speakers Academy, feeling a rush of emotions as I received an award for helping investors become full-time property investors and real estate millionaires. It was a validation of my journey, a testament to turning adversity into achievement.

The spotlight of recognition shone brightly. My story and achievements were featured on BBC's "Homes Under the Hammer," Business Insider, Walesonline, MyLondon, and the Herald. Each feature narrated a chapter of my journey, inspiring countless others to dream and dare.

As I held the Award for Impact in the Real Estate Industry, my heart swelled with gratitude. I thought of my dear wife, Zainab Bah Jalloh, whose love and support were my constant source of strength. I remembered the wisdom of mentors like Aran Curry, Andy Harrington, Samuel Leeds, Dean Graziosi, Tony Robbins, and Rob Moore. Each one had played a pivotal role in shaping my journey.

I thanked Allah and everyone who had helped me along the way. But most importantly, I dedicated the award to the people I had helped. Their success stories were the true measure of my journey’s worth.

It was a reminder that even the most daunting beginnings could lead to extraordinary destinations. My story, marked by both struggles and triumphs, was a beacon of hope, showing that with resilience and support, anyone could scale the heights of success.
