Today, we waved off our Jobs Growth Wales+ learners with a fond ‘adiós’ and ‘adéu’ as they set off on their Barcelona adventure! ✈️
Following the success of our previous trip to Barcelona, we've been able to expand the programme and give even more learners the opportunity to travel abroad. Over the coming days, they'll take part in a range of activities, experience a new culture, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Stay tuned 👀

We are excited to be joining our parent organisation, Cardiff and Vale College - Coleg Caerdydd a'r Fro, at this year's Pride Cymru in Cardiff.
At ACT, we’re proud to support Pride because we believe diversity encourages broader thinking and offers new perspectives. Gender identity and sexual orientation should never be a barrier for opportunity and we advocate for a more inclusive future where everyone feels safe and included.
We can’t wait to meet some new faces throughout the weekend celebrations - plus we’ll have stickers and badges for attendees too!

Rydym yn gyffrous i ymuno â'n rhiant-sefydliad, Coleg Caerdydd a'r Fro, yn Pride Cymru yng Nghaerdydd eleni.
Os ydych chi'n mynychu, mae croeso i chi alw heibio ein stondin. Mae gennym sticeri a bathodynnau ar gyfer pawb sy'n mynychu!
Rydym yn falch o fod yn cefnogi'r digwyddiad eleni oherwydd, yn ACT, rydym yn credu bod amrywiaeth yn annog meddwl ehangach ac yn cynnig safbwyntiau newydd. Ni ddylai hunaniaeth rhywedd a chyfeiriadedd rhywiol byth fod yn rhwystr ar gyfer cyfleoedd ac rydym yn eirioli dros ddyfodol mwy cynhwysol lle mae pawb yn teimlo'n ddiogel ac wedi'u cynnwys.
Rydym yn gobeithio cwrdd â rhai wynebau newydd ar draws y dathliad dros y penwythnos. Welwn ni chi yno.

A few months ago, ACT's postman Stephen Bailey, set himself a personal challenge - to give up coffee and fizzy drinks in aid of Cerebral Palsy Cymru.
Anyone who knows Steve knows how much of a challenge this is, as he isn't often seen in the office far from his trusty travel mug. Despite this, he went without his favourites for the entirety of March and raised more than £600 for the charity.
This week, Steve visited the Cerebral Palsy Cymru office, where he was welcomed by staff and presented with coffee and sweets in recognition of his achievement.
We're raising an iced latte to you Steve, da iawn!

A huge thank you to all of our colleagues and learners who supported our cake sale this week. Whether you baked, bought or donated you helped us raise an incredible £1000 for Thymic UK - a support and advocacy group helping patients and their families through cancers of the thymus gland.
Thymic cancers are very rare and for those receiving a diagnosis, it is a very scary and isolating time, particularly because not many people know much about the disease. With May being Thymic Malignancy Awareness Month we hope our bake sale has brought some awareness of the illness and the incredible work ThymicUK is doing.
