Lakeside Care Home

☀️We're making the most of the warm weather with another trip to Barry Island - Sue and Naomi took Mrs Siva and Jean out to the seaside. It was a lovely afternoon and our ladies felt revived after coffee, Ice cream and fish and chips. We battled the seagulls, starlings and crows who all wanted our chips! We wandered around 'Nessas Arcade' and listened (above the sound of squawking seagulls!!) to children playing in the sand. The attmosphere at Barry Island was very friendly and we got chatting to lots of other visitors. Time for a cool drink now! Happy Tuesday everyone 😊

What a fantastic Monday!! ☀️ Jayne and Sam took Jeff and Jim to Barry Island - the photos are lovely - our resident ornithologist Jim was tempting the sparrows to join them for lunch 😄 and meanwhile back in the Lakeside garden we returned to our gardening roots by planting up our new hanging baskets. Thankyou to Lynda for her gardening advice!! 😘
