Apprenticeships are just normal jobs with training. If you want one you have to search for apprenticeship jobs. Or call local companies and ask if they are offering any apprenticeship opportunities this year.

If companies are looking to fill skills gaps they may start looking at apprenticeships rather than using traditional recruitment agencies that cost quite a lot in fees. The training in an apprenticeship is paid for by the government if the company is an SME (small business). Candidates are paid an apprenticeship salary which is lower than the minimum wage. But the opportunity for a fantastic local career is massive.
