Velindre Matters

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Pride crafternoon! 💚

Staff from across Velindre and the local community came to our free event to take part in some arts and crafts, enjoy our cupcakes and make the most of the air con.

The jambori on June 24 was just one of many that makes up our Hefyd programme. Hefyd is our community benefits initiative as part of the new Velindre Cancer Centre (nVCC) project that invests in and develops a series of programmes including arts, green social prescribing, sustainability and working with children and young people.

The nVCC project provides us with a unique chance for us to undertake new opportunities and explore the role Velindre plays in our wider communities.

Couldn’t make it this time? We have more jamboris planned for August, with one scheduled every Wednesday throughout the month! We’ll be sharing more details on those events soon.

Diolch i bawb a ddaeth i’n digwyddiad ‘crafternoon’ fel rhan o Pride 💚

Daeth staff o bob cwr o Felindre a'r gymuned leol i'n digwyddiad am ddim i gymryd rhan mewn celf a chrefft, mwynhau ein cacennau bach a gwneud y gorau o'r aerdymheru.

Dim ond un o’r nifer o’r digwyddiadau sy'n ffurfio ein rhaglen Hefyd oedd y jamborî ar Fehefin 24. Hefyd yw ein menter buddion cymunedol fel rhan o’r prosiect Canolfan Ganser Felindre newydd, sy'n buddsoddi mewn cyfres o raglenni sy’n cynnwys y celfyddydau, presgripsiynu cymdeithasol gwyrdd, cynaliadwyedd a gweithio gyda phlant a phobl ifanc, ac sy’n eu datblygu hefyd.

Mae’r prosiect CGFn yn rhoi cyfle unigryw inni gymryd rhan mewn cyfleoedd newydd ac archwilio'r rôl y mae Felindre yn ei chwarae yn ein cymunedau ehangach.

Methu mynychu y tro hwn? Mae gennym ni fwy o jamborîs wedi'u cynllunio ar gyfer mis Awst, gydag un wedi'i drefnu bob dydd Mercher drwy gydol y mis! Byddwn yn rhannu mwy o fanylion am y digwyddiadau hynny cyn bo hir.
