Today, on International Women’s Day, I want to honour one incredible woman who inspires me every single day — my daughter, who turned 23 yesterday.

Watching her grow into the woman she is today fills me with a pride that’s hard to capture in words. She is sassy, funny, strong, vibrant and beautiful, with a heart that holds so much tolerance, love and kindness.

She reminds me that strength comes in many forms — in compassion, in courage, in humour, in resilience, and in the way we choose to show up for others.

So this year, I dedicate International Women’s Day to her. To the woman she is becoming, to the light she carries, and to the joy of witnessing her journey.

Here’s to all the women who shape us, inspire us, and walk beside us.
