Hey everyone! I would like to be able to offer my services as a teacher, vocal/performance coach, opera singer and musical performer ethically at accessible pricing, offering a more community opera style approach, however, I cannot do this alone. I have been performing from the age of 7, and the thing I love most about performing is sharing that storytelling, allowing someone to feel something when they may be experiencing emotional numbness and creating a sense of community. In current times of ongoing economic hardships, many arts organisations are losing funding. As an openly q***r nonbinary person, I have felt actively pushed away and rejected by companies who loved to work with me before I came out as a nonbinary performer. This has impacted on my opportunities for professional work. I try to take jobs when I can in the community and for charity performances. However, as a Cardiff-based singer, I often have to make the choice of either accepting a job I want to do with people who want to work with me, and not getting paid, or making a huge loss after travel, time dedicated to learning and not being able to take other work during this time. So, while I remain passionate about performing, why not use my skills creatively and combine all the things that I am good at? I want to sing, share my love of music and teach, and create safe spaces and community. I am currently training as a counsellor (studying for a Certificate in Counselling Studies – Level 3) to make me an even better teacher and allow even more support to be available to my students. I want to work with everyone who could benefit from my experience and approach - this might be you! I want to be able to work with good companies even if they can’t cover my expenses. If I can cover my costs here, I have the opportunity take a lower fee from less funded groups and local venues, or anyone else who is wanting to support this OG nonbinary baritone.

PANIG! ATTACK!!
I have the pleasure of announcing that on Saturday 26th April I will be returning for the third time as a soloist with the incredible WNO Youth Opera, performing the role of Attacker in this incredible World Premiere! It's a joy to be invited back to join this celebration of 20 years of Welsh National Opera’s Youth Opera with the Newly Composed Youth Opera: Panig! Attack!! Composed by WNO Youth Opera Music Director Dan Perkin with an incredibly moving story told by a funny and accessible libretto by Bethan Marlow.
I am so excited to share this stage with WNO Youth Opera, past and present, including my incredible friends and colleagues .x and .
As an openly nonbinary performer, sometimes I forget to talk about my experience as a neurodivergent and disabled performer. However, this is the perfect opera to show accessibility in opera - especially in new operas!! Not only is this opera in English, but also in Welsh (with subtitles for both!) AS WELL AS including a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter on stage and audio description for half our shows too!
Tickets are priced for accessibility from £15 for under-16s! https://booking.trafalgartickets.com/en/new-theatre-cardiff/buyingflow/tickets/28492/55606/
