Dud and Jayney from are going to be trying out a new do in Pop ‘n Hops on Sunday 2nd August, 2-8pm, playing original vinyl only 7”/12”, LP. NO reissues/boots/replicas etc! It’s done regularly all over the UK, a way of discovering new tunes. Expect to maybe hear things new to your ears across wide range of Black Music: Rare Soul, Modern (mostly 70-80s) Soul, Crossover Soul, Chillout Soul, Carib Soul, Rocksteady, Soulful Reggae, Lovers Reggae etc etc!

Some killer stuff out today. Always a joy to have a copy of Raindogs in. A whole load of Beatles LPs in EXCEPTIONAL condition. Black Flag. This OG Bonniwell Music Machine LP, although a bit hammered, is a real joy. Another 1st of London Calling. Psychadelic P**n Crumpets (i cannot express how much I hate their name. T***s.). Loads of Pogues (×××). A bunch of soundtrack LPs too, making me want to watch One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest again (I love 70s Jack Nicholson - I watched The Last Detail a couple of weeks ago. Man alive. So good).
