Unfortunately, we are not able to offer our usual Self Service hours today as the library is in use as a Polling Station.

The nearest libraries open today are:
Radlett Library - open 10am - 6pm or
Watford Central Library - open 9.30am - 7pm

We will reopen as normal at 10am on Friday 26th June.

Join us for a special Storytime on Tuesday 23 June at 11am, where we'll be reading nature themed stories. This event is suitable for children under 5 and is a free, drop in event. We hope to see you there! 🌱

Can you believe that this year’s Summer Reading Challenge starts just 2 weeks from today?

The Reading Agency has partnered with Universal Music Group UK for this year’s fantastic theme, ‘Read to the Beat’🎵

The challenge is designed for children of all ages and all they need to take part is their own library card. If your child isn’t a library member, you can sign them up for free by visiting your local library.

For eager readers, you can reserve books free of charge for children ahead of the challenge. Just visit the Hertfordshire Libraries catalogue or use our app:
