Office Manager

We are a well established Architectural and Engineering practice based in a converted barn within the beautiful Merthyr Mawr Estate near Bridgend and we are looking for an Office Manager to join our team.

We need someone who is organised, hard working , enthusiastic and committed to take an active role in the organisation and support of the business.

The ideal candidate will have :

-Min 3 years’ experience in a similar role where they have overseen the day to day running and administration of a private business
-HR Experience – experience of staff review , contracts, training , management etc.
-Experience dealing with and communicating with staff and clients at all levels
-Basic knowledge of financial procedures. You will work closely with our Finance Manager
-Good written skills
-Some knowledge of the Construction Sector

Duties will include:

-Admin and PA support role to MD and other senior staff members which will include managing diaries, liaising with clients and professional service suppliers such as insurers , legal advisors etc
-HR Duties , managing staff reviews, dealing with employment contracts , managing recruitment process and staff training programme
-Liaising with our Health and Safety advisors to ensure various accreditations are kept up to date
-Ordering supplies for day to day running of the office
-Liaising with suppliers – i.e., telecoms, landlord, IT etc
-Booking and managing client /hospitality events
Assisting in the coordination of social media and marketing with the team

Package

We are looking for someone to work 20 hours per week , over a min of 4 days (Monday to Thursday ), or 5 days. Rate of pay will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
