I have not been doing much music creation in 2025. It tends to happen after an album release.

You may be interested to know that my creative process involves 9 stages.

1) Initial ideas or licks which I save.
2) Then I pick them up several months later and add to them.
3) Build a song structure around them and add extra sections
4) Listen to the music on multiple devices (car stereo, air pods, headphones, stereo, Bluetooth speakers) tweak and re-listen, tweak and re-listen. Final run through of all tracks noting any further adjustments and making them.
5) Recording the mix down
6) Mastering and re-listening on multiple device outputs.
7) The administration - painstakingly registering the tracks officially, obtaining codes, listing track lengths, genres and several pages worth of metadata. This part is soo long and tedious, it can put a bit of a downer on the whole release process for me. Set a release date and confirm with the publisher.
8)Promotion - This consists of using the IndieBible promotional contacts lists, lots of emails trying to sell me, some post on socials and using a platform called repost exchange to gain soundcloud traction.
9) Rest and listen to other artists music, usually a very eclectic range of genres.
