It all started with a 12-year-old dream. 🤍

I’m Katie Thomas, owner of KTM Design.

When I was 12 years old, I decided I was going to become an interior designer.

I never imagined that one day I’d be leading an award-winning design studio specialising in hospitality-inspired healthcare and wellness environments.

Looking back, it actually makes perfect sense.

Health and wellbeing have always been part of my life. I trained in dance from a young age, spent years swimming competitively, am a keen surfer, have always loved fitness, and have been fascinated by health and nutrition for as long as I can remember.

Alongside that, I’ve always loved hospitality design and the way great spaces can make people feel. Combining those two passions has shaped the way we design today.

And yes… I’ve also always weirdly enjoyed going to the dentist. 😅

Today, my team and I design destination wellness spaces that don’t just look beautiful, they improve patient experience, support staff wellbeing and help healthcare businesses grow.
