Update: Walk 31 miles in May for

Some of you may remember I started this challenge at the beginning of of May and probably wondering why I haven’t updated you on my progress.

The truth is I have been struggling since I caught a virus a day or so after this photo was taken. It really wiped me out for over two weeks. Unfortunately I then had a flare up of osteoarthritis in my knees and foot. Whether it was the virus that caused the flare up I don’t know but the heatwave certainly didn’t help!

This means, unfortunately I was unable to complete the challenge by 31st May. I am conscious people have donated and don’t want to let you all down.

So I am continuing my challenge to the end of June in the hope I can get my miles up. Thank you to those who have donated and my fundraising page is still open for anyone who would still like to donate.

This is a cause very close to my heart with my Dad who had Dementia and now watching my mum with it.

I am going to carry on and get this done! (Just might be a little slower)
