BCP Future Lab

Hello! We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, but we’ve been working hard behind the scenes and are planning a dynamic event for March 2022. Before we share the details of what’s to come, we thought we’d do a little recap of what we’re about and what we’ve achieved so far…
- BCP Future Lab is a collaborative design project to re-imagine Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole town centres.
- We kicked off the project in June 2021 and have already had over 500 conversations across the local community.
- We’ve held workshops, chatted to people in the street and observed how our public spaces are currently used (or unused!)
- Hearing about your views, ideas and experiences so far have shaped our key design principles which will inform how we translate our concepts into real and practical solutions.

Lots of interesting ideas for the future of our three town centres offered on Saturday!

BCP Future Lab will rethink the future of Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Town Centres for the post-pandemic world. We are inviting the people who live work, visit or indeed avoid these places, to help inspire, plan and design new town centres that can thrive socially and economically.
