We’re really excited to kick off the new year by announcing our first art workshop of 2026 — our Wednesday Evening Life Drawing, running every Wednesday at WAXPIGEON Art Studio.
- Starting from Wednesday 14th January

These relaxed, welcoming sessions are untutored but gently guided, and you’ll be drawing from our brilliant professional life model, Paul, whose thoughtful poses and calm presence make for an inspiring evening of observation and expressive mark-making.

Workshop details:
🖤 Every Wednesday evening
🕖 19:00 – 21:00
✏️ Draw from a professional model
🎨 Explore expressive mark-making in a relaxed studio setting
🌿 All levels very welcome

Pricing:
• £15 per session
• £10 for students / OAP
• 6-session pass: £78 / £54
(ID required for concessions)

Easels/donkeys, drawing boards, basic materials, paper, plus tea and coffee are provided — and you’re always welcome to bring your own favourite materials. Advanced booking is preferred.

The piece is called Glasgow and is inspired by the Equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington in Glasgow. Named Banksy’s favorite piece of art in the whole of the UK. It’s iconic and depicts the perfect balance of why the people win and authorities have to succumb.

This is one piece of of the Liberty collection, which was created during lockdown. Hence the graffiti on the wall. You can prepare but your can never predict.
