While people in our community continue to face significant pressures, The Springfield Project remains a trusted place bringing people together to access support, build relationships and find opportunities to flourish. Every Wednesday in August - Spark Green Park by Nelson Mandela School

At School Readiness Stay and Play, we celebrated National Writing Day by encouraging children to develop their Sammy Skills through a variety of fun, hands-on mark-making activities. ✍️✍ Startwell

Children explored early writing in creative ways using glue sticks and sand to make marks. These sensory experiences help to build the fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence needed for future writing.

Learning through play is a fantastic way to support children's early literacy while making it fun and engaging!
