OPEN 10-3 FOR THE FOOD FESTIVAL

The BELPER FOOD FESTIVAL is TOMORROW! and the weather is looking nice ☀️

On Sunday 3 July, between 10am and 4pm, Belper will host its annual Summer Food Festival, an event which attracts residents and visitors from far and wide, and this year promises to be a cracker!
Everybody is welcome to visit this fantastic Festival which will offer a wide variety of artisan and local foods, drink, and crafts. Stalls will be located along the ‘pedestrianised’ King Street, Strutt Street and Campbell Street for the day, and there will be provision for ‘slow shopping’ between 9.30am and 10am for those with disabling conditions, so please take advantage of this quieter time if you need to.
A full programme of entertainment will be provided in the Memorial Gardens throughout the day, organised by the ‘Belper Fringe’ in collaboration with ‘Furthest from the Sea’, which will include live music and life-size novelty puppets, so just drop by and enjoy the atmosphere.
Belper has many independent shops which will also contribute to a great shopping experience and the majority of these will be open during the Festival, both in the Festival arena but also along Chapel Street and Bridge Street, so come and take the opportunity to explore the whole town!
