Ruby and the Heartlight is a gentle picture book inspired by our amazing daughter Ruby, who lives with Tuberous Sclerosis – a rare condition that isn’t always visible, but affects her every day.

This story is for her – and for all children who feel “different” but shine in their own beautiful way.

I’ll be releasing a series of books about invisible disabilities like autism, dyslexia, and epilepsy. It’s about how easily we misunderstand what we can’t see – and why kindness and empathy matter more than ever.

I wrote this book with love and hope – to help children feel seen, and to gently remind us all: think before you judge.
