Last night I spent time focusing on health and finance at Women's Well-being event at Custom House in Belfast.

A beautiful venue and expert speakers talking about hormonal health and nutrition to mindset, money and long-term financial security, at different stages of your life.

Small reminders to look after yourself and your finances becasue if we don't, we can't look after others.

Loved the references to movement snacks and "Joy Breaks" - diarise small pleasures throughout your day. So important for someone like me who is behind the computer most of the day.

Well, that's the work Christmas parties over with🥳🎄

Over the last two weeks, I've been catching up with my network at:

ReformNet Christmas lunch for our last lunch of the year. Thanks to my guest Sharon McMaw, for coming along, and luckily, we didn't get picked on by the magician🪄

and .marketing's self-employed Christmas lunch. Always lovely to see people pop up out of the blue like , who I went to for baby yoga, all those years ago!

And finally, a massive thanks to Angela from Diamond Systems for inviting me to their team Christmas night out. It was a "Greatest Show" themed party with amazing food and spectacular performances from Peter Corry MBE Productions.

I'm now on the countdown to Christmas and busy getting finished off before a well-deserved rest. Everything has come at once for me this month, with onboarding a new client as well as working on an interesting strategic social media review for a large organisation.

This week, I was with and NI Environment Link, at (Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action), training a diverse group of people from different environmental and outdoors organisations on , the online graphic design platform👩🏻‍💻

One of the key takeaways was that if you are a non-profit or educational organisation (which many of the attendees were from), you can get Canva Pro for free. It's such a great benefit!

The attendees weren't in communications roles, they were project managers.

It really highlighted how visual content has become a standard part of workplace communication and how important it is for everyone to have some design knowledge and skills.
