UK 'faces science skill shortage' 24/07/2012

I have just heard a report on the news saying that our university students (especially science and engineering) do not have a good enough knowledge of maths to cope. They are having to have remedial maths lessons. Perhaps if maths was more fun in the primary years, more students would want to continue their studies in this area.
