Reminder !!
Please check your MOT expiry dates. All too often we see people forgetting when their mot expires then panicking trying to get an appointment. We are normally booked 1 to 2 weeks in advance so it’s getting increasingly harder to help people out at short notice. Please check your expiry date and set a reminder. Remember you can get your MOT done 1 month before the expiry date and still retain the original expiry date. The same goes for general servicing, tyres, maintenance etc. please note we having a waiting list off around 1 to 2 weeks regardless if it’s just a bulb change or tyre, thank you.

Wet belt
We’ve been busy as usual in the workshop we have seen a massive increase in the number of vehicles coming in for wet belt replacements.

What is a wet belt
A wet belt is like a conventional timing belt but it runs inside the engine oil. Poor servicing, age and just poor design results in the belt degrading and snapping or clogging the oil strainer leading to major issues or worse engine failure. Get yours done before it’s too late some makes with wet belts are-
Peugeot, Citroen, Ford, Honda, Vauxhall
