🚖💛 Yesterday reminded us exactly why we do what we do. 💛🚖

As many of you will already know, unfortunately a tree fell across the train tracks, causing major disruption and huge delays along the London–Salisbury route 🚆🌳

When the chaos hit yesterday afternoon… honestly, we didn’t quite know what to expect.

What followed was hours of non-stop bookings, walk-ins and phone calls from every direction imaginable.

From around 3PM–7PM, our team worked back-to-back without stopping, helping get people safely where they needed to be.

And what a mix of journeys it was… ✈️🚖

People trying to catch flights.
Families desperate to get home.
Loved ones trying to reunite.
Customers travelling across the country.
People from all walks of life, all ages, cultures and languages — all suddenly needing help at once.

But something incredible happened…

Instead of frustration, there was kindness 💛

Passengers helping passengers.
People offering to share journeys and split costs to help others get home.
Customers being patient, understanding and genuinely looking out for one another.

Honestly, to everyone affected by the train delays yesterday… you restored our faith in people.

A special shoutout too to our incredible team 👏

Not one customer was forgotten. Not one person was left behind.

And something we’re particularly proud of…

In moments like this, when demand suddenly surges and transport becomes essential, we believe people shouldn’t be penalised for simply trying to get home safely.

So while the demand was incredibly high, our focus stayed exactly the same — fair, reliable transport and helping as many people as possible get where they needed to be safely. Because doing the right thing for customers will always matter more to us than taking advantage of difficult situations 💛
