I’m aware that residents at Crown Heights have been left without water, with some people understandably concerned about access to toilets, washing facilities and basic hygiene.

My office has contacted FirstPort to ask for an urgent update on the repairs, when residents can expect the water supply to be restored, and what support is being provided in the meantime.

I know this is a really difficult situation, especially in this heat and for families, older residents and anyone with additional needs.

I’ll share any updates I receive.
