The Basildon Upper Academy

Our Sixth Form students are making the most of the fitness suite, developing their strength, fitness & wellbeing through a variety of activities using cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, free weights & calisthenics bars. 💪

A huge congratulations to our KS4 athletes who represented the Upper Academy at the District Athletics Championships yesterday at Basildon Sporting Village.

Competing against students from eight schools, our athletes demonstrated fantastic determination, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the day, achieving six individual medals and a number of top-eight finishes.

🎓 Today, we said goodbye to our Class of 2026 at their Leavers' Assembly.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the memories, achievements, friendships, and experiences that have shaped their journey at The Basildon Academies.

We wish all of our Year 11 students the very best as they take their next steps and look forward to welcoming many of them back to our Sixth Form in September.
