Some conditions that you might not have known I can help with 🙏

And some services you might not know I offer as part of a consultation.

I don’t just work with sports injuries alone.

With a clinical background, as well as sports science, rehab and medicine. I deal with a large variety of conditions.

I can also help with:
- Sourcing the right specialist surgeon for you
- Advice on the right type of scan
- Discounts on private MRI’s and Ultrasound scans
- Information about the most appropriate injection
- Second opinion on MSK diagnosis
- Review of your current rehab programme from NHS
- Referrals to your GP

Leah Williamson light rehab day 🔴⚪️

Here is a good example of a lower load day.

1️⃣ Banded Terminal Knee Extensions- great for quadriceps activation.

2️⃣ Decline Single Leg or Split stance Isometric Squat- excellent for patella tendon prep and capacity.

3️⃣ Isometric Hamstring Bridge- Builds hamstring tendon capacity. Particularly important following a hamstring graft for ACL reconstruction.

4️⃣Isokinetic Dynamometer Testing- Objectively testing Hamstring vs Quad strength ratios. An absolute must. Significant imbalances here can be a risk factor for ACL (re)injury.

5️⃣ Off-feet conditioning. Maintains CV fitness without overloading tissues/joints. Particularly useful after a higher load training day or match.

I’ve helped literally hundreds of people with knee ligament injuries. If you’re struggling or need a second opinion, feel free to get in touch!

⛳️ Great couple of days at the Belfry playing The Brabazon & PGA National

🏌️‍♂️ If your back is often painful or stiff after golf, and there could be a few things contributing to it.

Such as:
- Muscular weaknesses of the lower back and/or hips
- Reduced Hip Rotation
- Reduced Thoracic Rotation
- Lack of frontal plane and rotational training

Some exercises coming soon to help with this 👀👍

A lot of my clients are reporting this way too often.

And it is something that I have posted about on a few occasions- and it’s only happening more and more:

1️⃣ Being “clicked into place” is a COMPLETE MYTH. Invented by charlatan practitioners who create dependency, that just want to take your money.

2️⃣ If it was that easy- ask yourself how anyone plays Rugby, competes in MMA, lifts any form of weight…

3️⃣ You do not need repeated sessions for this type of thing. A simple assessment and home exercise programme will do the trick- maybe some treatment if indicated to serve as a platform and improve willingness to move through range and engage in the prescribed rehab.

Don’t get me wrong- “adjustments” have their place. It’s something that I am trained in myself, and even teach others.

But too often they are being over sold, over explained, over hyped and carry a lot of misinformation and false beliefs.
