Supporting adults in the community. This maybe promoting independence within their own home or support with more complex health needs. All training is given and a uniform supplied. The job entails travelling to the service user and is based throughout Essex and Kent currently. We are based in Basildon.

Calling all care assistants.
PASS - Potton Adult Support Services.
We have a new service that supports Adults in their homes and in the community.
The aim is to provide personal care, health and medical support to people aged 18 years old and over.
Support we offer to Adults
• Personal care
• Medical support
• Respite care
• Support from hospital to home
• Palliative Care

• Support work
• To live independently where possible

Person Specification
Skills and Qualifications
• Health and Social care Level 2
• The ability to show genuine care, compassion, and respect for others at all times
• Ability to display empathy and warmth to all no matter the circumstance
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Good communication skills
• Good planning skills
• Good timekeeping
• Ability to understand the role, or have previous care experience
• Ability to follow instructions
Key Competencies
• To attend all client calls in a timely manner
• To understand the importance of each home care visit
• To cope professionally with emergency and difficult situations
• To be able to communicate effectively with other people
• To maintain high standards of home care provision
• It is a benefit if you have driving licence (depending on area applied for)
• To have flexible availability to match client needs
• To undertake care plans and risk assessments
