It's about time we started to share a little bit more about our amazing team of trainers here at ATLAS CPC Training. First up it's our Richard. Richard's been with us for a good while now and conducts all our Full Day courses as well as some weekend and evening split sessions.

So.. What's Richard all about ey?...😂🥸

'I started in the industry a Driver many years ago. I began with agency’s doing all different types of
work for quite some time before I settled with one business which I then remained at for 10 years.
Over those 10 years, I gradually moved into driver training and management roles before leaving the
business in March 2022, to begin a new chapter as a self-employed External Transport Manager. As a
DCPC instructor, I feel my greatest asset to training is coming from a driving background. While
training, I can share my own driving experiences and feel that I can relate to the delegates attending
the courses to discuss the “real world” situations that generally arise in the industry that don’t
always get addressed in training.
I love working with Atlas as they provide excellent material to train, and the modules are laid out in a
relaxed yet informative way. I have a real passion for the industry, and I love chatting to drivers and
transport staff about the jobs they do, as a driver, CPC courses were generally a bit of a chore, but
Atlas make that a thing of the past and the brilliant feedback we get suggests the customers enjoy
them now too.
Outside of training I’m a keen Drummer, first picking up the sticks 25 years ago! I’ve gigged all over
the Essex and London area playing all sorts from heavy rock to pop covers. Music is my second
passion in life, and I’m sat at my kit every time I get a chance!'
