What.A.Day!!

We never do things by half here at Ignite and so for our team outing we went Target Shooting with an AR-15.

For the uninitiated, this a real assault rifle with real bullets. (In a controlled environment)

Of course I won the first match and Marie Monk very closely won the second but everyone had the best time. We can’t wait to go back!!

After we had emptied the rounds, we moved on for food and drinks to round the evening off.

You won’t see it coming!!

Invoice Fraud or Cyber Crime as it’s also referred too, is on the increase.

This crime is so sophisticated and deceptive that chances are you won’t know you’ve been duped until it’s too late.

Invoice fraud happens when an email containing an invoice is intercepted between the sender and you. The bank details will be changed to the criminals account and so when you make payment, it’s gone to the wrong account. This then becomes your problem as it’s you that has now lost the money. The chances of getting this back from the bank can be slim.

So how can you tackle this?

➡️ Firstly, all new clients/suppliers should be called up to verify the details over the phone. Any change in bank details too!

➡️ Secondly, you should protect yourself with Cyber Liability Insurance and add Cyber Crime cover.
