Logistic Support Squadron - CLR RM

Congratulations to Lt Duncan Smith 29 Regiment RLC 2Lt Oliver Pritchard CLR and Lt Hargreaves of 17 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC, Marchwood . Today these Officers completed 30 miles in 8 hours of endurance marching over Dartmoor, the final Commando test which concluded their Commando training and awarded them the Green beret. -!-

A huge congratulations to the new Master General of Logistics, Major General Simon Hutchings OBE from Logistic Support Squadron. A huge achievement for the Officer and a positive example for those on a career journey in logistics.

Dieppe Troop (Formarlly Pet Troop) have been busy the past month on Ex Fuels Regain, a trade exercise used as an upgrade from class 3 to 2 and testing real time scenario for the JNCO's.

The exercise was from 20 Sep 21 to 17 Oct 21, and utilised an abundance of equipment mainly PBFI, ESM, Onload and intra Nodal pipeline.

This photo shows the great opportunites being taken right now by CLR members exercising in the states. As is customary, breaking from exercising in the desert on R&R to grab a run ashore in Vegas. LS Sqn has some amazing trips planned for 2022, it is shaping up to being an exciting place to serve and remains on the leading edge of innovative logistics.
